1. Job Description:  M. S. Swaminathan Research Foundation invites applications for the positions of Research Associate (RA) Senior Research Fellow (SRF), Junior Research Fellow (JRF), and Technical Assistant (TA).in the area of plant biotechnology
2. Necessary qualifications:
   • JRF: M.Sc (Biotechnology/Life Sciences except zoology/Agriculture). Candidates completing their Masters this year can also apply with their last appeared semester mark sheet.
   • SRF: M.Sc / M.Tech (Biotechnology/Life Sciences except zoology /Agriculture) with at least two years research experience in the field of plant biotechnology specifically in areas of gene isolation, cloning, plant transformation / transcriptomics as evidenced by publications.
   • RA: Ph.D. (Biotechnology/Life Sciences except zoology) with experience in plant biotechnology in the areas of gene isolation, characterisation, cloning, and rice transformation as evidenced by publications.
   • TA: B.Sc/ B. Tech. (Biotechnology/Life Sciences) with experience in plant tissue culture and plant transformation methodologies and upkeep of plant molecular biology laboratory.
